Tehama delivers enhanced end user computing experience to deploy highly secure virtual rooms and desktops

Tehama’s enhanced software client powered by PCoIP connects to highly secure and compliant cloud-based workspaces in minutes.

Tehama, the fastest, easiest, most secure way to deploy a global workforce, is pleased to announce the launch of its new Tehama software client powered by Teradici PCoIP® technology. The new Tehama software client supports all major endpoint platforms, including macOS, Windows, Chrome OS, Linux, and IGEL’s next-gen edge OS for cloud workspaces.

Tehama is a cloud-based SaaS platform that delivers highly secure virtual offices, rooms, and desktops anywhere in minutes. Teradici’s PCoIP technology adds another layer of protection by compressing, encrypting and transmitting only pixels to a broad range of software clients, mobile clients, thin clients and stateless PCoIP Zero Clients, ensuring sensitive information never leaves the data center. PCoIP traffic is secured using AES 256 encryption, which meets the highest level of security required by enterprise customers and governments. For users, there is no discernible difference in experience between working on a local computer loaded with software or on an endpoint receiving a streamed pixel representation from a centralized virtual machine.

There is a shift taking place, with more businesses adopting a remote workforce, resulting in an increase in demand for solutions that deliver the benefits of working from home, including cost savings on office space and the ability to hire top talent from around the world.

“The new Tehama client will provide organizations with a faster and better user experience for virtual desktops along with the most robust endpoint security for anyone working from home or remote,” said Jaymes Davis, Director of Product Strategy at Tehama. “Tehama also saves organizations costs by quickly provisioning virtual rooms, and the new Tehama client will save additional costs by working on all endpoints,” added Davis.

“Tehama’s Virtual Rooms and Desktops provide a secure, end-to-end solution for companies looking for alternatives that enable remote workforces while maintaining a high level of usability and performance for end users, which aligns well with Teradici’s mission and supports our ongoing collaboration,” said Paul Austin, director of global channels for Teradici. “Tehama’s integration of PCoIP technology into its software client helps to ensure that Tehama customers are provided with a solid user experience and reliable security regardless of their chosen endpoint device.”

Tehama, in collaboration with Teradici, and IGEL now offers the fastest, most secure end-user computing experience on-demand. With the new Tehama client powered by Teradici, Tehama’s Virtual office as a Service, and IGEL’s edge OS, enterprises have a single-entry point for a complete secure end-user computing service from any location.

“The accelerated migration to remote work scenarios has increased the need for secure, on-demand access to cloud-enabled and virtual workspaces,” said Simon Clephan, Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Alliances for IGEL. “Together with Tehama and Teradici, we are pleased to be providing our mutual customers with a powerful workspace delivery solution that is simple to manage and gives end-users secure, on-demand access to their critical business applications and data.”

Q&A with Tehama’s Nabeel Youakim: The Tehama Workroom and the Future of Hybrid Work

Recently we sat down to talk with Tehama’s Chief Development Officer, Nabeel Youakim, about Tehama’s Carrier for Work™ platform, and how combining DaaS, Security, Audit, and Networking to provide seamless hybrid workforce enablement, Tehama is transforming hybrid work.
